Chinese New Year Party

We arrived at the venue early and found the place full of sponsor booths with different activities, so Randall got an Elsa balloon and had his face painted with a dolphin and two rainbows. Then at a little past 5:30pm, the show finally started. It didn’t take Randall long though to become tired of the uninteresting performances and keep asking for more “dancing” shows. He also checked the program list from time to time to see which one we’d come to. We told him we had to leave early because it would soon be his bedtime. Randall checked the list one more time and said, “Next time can we come early so we can finish 12, 13 and 14?” “Oh yes, of course!” we replied.

First Ski Trip

Randall made his first ski trip at Snowqualmie this weekend. He wasn’t super brave but wasn’t very bad either. He managed to move around on flat areas. Even though he had decided to do no more skiing after lunch, the obsession with riding the magic carpet got him to ski a few more times with daddy before we were to head back home.
