This time last year we were at the same beach, putting Randall on our chairs, and he was quietly enjoying the nice warm weather and the sea view. Well, this year, no more.

Miami Trip: The Hotel Room
What can be more enjoyable than having snacks and the sea view at the same time?
The first day of the trip was a big mess. The computer system went down at the LaGuardia Airport and our bags did not fly with us to Miami. So we had to get Randall something to sleep in. We took him to the Gap store on Lincoln Rd and as soon as we arrived at the kids section he jumped right off his stroller and ran to the racks. I had never seen him so excited before. He went through the shirts just like I did and took one after another as if he would like to move the entire store back home.
Randall also got obsessed with the sliding door at the hotel room. And eventually, on our last night there, he was happy to find out that he could slide it with just one little finger.

Daddy is away on business trip this week. But there are plenty of things to keep Randall busy.

It was Randall’s first play date with his classmates this morning. The kids had great fun with the whole bunch of toys at Dasha’s home and loved the pastries we had brought there. Although they enjoyed being around their friends, there was not much interaction and they were most of the time parallel playing. Until, Lenaig came. A minute before, Randall had been all about toys and food and hadn’t even wondered where mommy had been, but now he was following this girl around everywhere. When they finally “met”, they gave each other a BIG HUG. It was so sweet and soooo funny! All of us parents were watching and laughing. Later on when Randall was ready to leave, Lenaig came all the way to the corridor to wave goodbye to Randall, who then grabbed her hand and attempted to give her a kiss.
