I choose not to have a title for this post, coz no words can be good enough.

Ran Ran is now able to climb on the sofa, and for sure he loves it. Today I just decided to make a video of his funny climbing movements. But video taking is now a tough job for you have to find something to distract him from the camera. Cell phone did the trick this time, but again he became too focused to attend to my kind requests. I kept asking him to climb on the sofa but was ignored. As a last-ditch effort, I said:”I’ll let you watch TV if you can just go sit on the sofa”. And that, all of a sudden, worked…
You gave birth to a new life, and now he is giving back, a whole different life, to you. This summer has been such an unusual one. The long hours I spend with the baby, along with the effort I make to avoid his tantrum, always leave me exhausted and with a bunch of work undone at the end of the day. Neither has the humid weather nor the busily working dad made things any easier.
But every once in a while, maybe when you finally get to feel a nice breeze in your face after a couple of gloomy drizzling days, you start to look at the bright side of the story. It’s this little guy who gets you to slow down, to enjoy the sunshine every afternoon, to squat and look at the world from a different angle in a different way.
Ran Ran now believes that once you tip over a cup water will come down to your mouth even if the cup is literally empty… and you can taste the liquid with your imagination.
Oh, he actually does one more thing: pour imaginary water from his leak-proof drinking bottle into another container, like his toy train. And sometimes when the leak isn’t really proofed, he gets a nice sip from the train.
“He looks like he’s ready to take on the world.” this guy said to mum. The next minute, I had the whole park to myself!
The little one loves seeing pictures of himself, and if he sees himself drinking in the picture he asks for his bottle. It was sunglasses this time, so he led me to our desk and pointed to his cool guy gear.
